Weekend Update

Doreen returned from Phoenix safe and sound on Tuesday. (Her dad, incidentally, is doing much better!) This weekend, we went with some friends from school on a trip to champagne country. We visited Reims, Epernay, Verdun, Luxembourg, Troyes, and Provins, plus a detour into Belgium to buy some gas. (Long story.)

We got home earlier tonight. There was a small explosion in Paris this morning, but we missed it. It's nowhere near our apartment. Speculation is that the explosion is related to some renovation work being done nearby.
